Parents and Citizens Association
Hernani Public School has a committed and supportive P&C Association, that plays an important role within our school. Including raising funds and coordinating events that benefit the whole school community. Our P&C provide catering services for various organisations and community events throughout the region, for example, the Ebor Camp Draft, cattle and clearing sales and sports carnivals.
The P&C meets once a term on a Monday at 6.00pm. Also hold special meetings when needed. Our meetings provide invaluable time to discuss school planning, upcoming events and recognise student achievement at Hernani Public School. All new members are warmly welcomed.
Hernani Public Schools' P&C plays an active role in supporting the educational programs at school by generously supporting:
- purchases of textbooks, Online learning programs and students readers;
- excursions;
- assisting families with students representing our school at District, Regional and State levels in Primary Schools Sports Association (PSSA) sporting events;
- State and volunteering their time in a range of areas; and
- the school with special events and various tasks throughout the year.
